This document explains the privacy practices followed on www.hvetech.net in clear and transparent terms. It covers information submitted through the forms and technical data generated while browsing.
This English version is provided as a courtesy translation. The Portuguese version is the authoritative text and prevails in the event of any discrepancy.
1. Who is responsible for processing your data
HVE Tech determines how the personal data collected through this website is processed. For questions or requests concerning privacy, please contact us at felipe.ricardi@hvetech.net.
2. Data we may collect
When you request an assessment, we collect the information you voluntarily provide in the form: your name, company, contact email and a description of your challenge. If you authorize contact, the guide request form collects your email address to provide access to the material. Your phone or WhatsApp number is optional and is recorded only if you provide it. Previous records or other channels may include your industry and the stage of your initiative.
We also record technical and browsing information, such as pages viewed, actions performed, session ID, device type, traffic source, medium, campaign, ad click identifier (such as a Google Ads identifier) and referring URL. When you submit a form, the origin of your visit (campaign and landing page) is saved with your contact information to identify the referral source. We do not request sensitive personal data through the form.
3. How we use your data
We use your information to respond to requests, understand your challenge, assess a potential custom system or management dashboard, retain a record of our communications, protect the website and understand, in aggregate, which content and channels help companies find HVE Tech.
4. Legal bases and consent
We contact you in response to a form submission based on the consent you give when submitting it. Records strictly necessary for security, abuse prevention, site operation and improvement may be processed on the basis of legitimate interests, in a proportionate manner that respects data subjects’ rights.
You may withdraw your consent or request the deletion of your data at any time through the channels listed in this policy.
5. Metrics, cookies and Google Analytics
The website collects internal operational and performance metrics using a temporary session identifier to count visits and interactions, without creating a user account. We also record device categories (mobile phone, tablet or computer) in aggregated form.
If you select “Accept analytics” in the website notice, we enable Google Analytics. Our own analytics tool also stores an anonymous identifier in your browser, allowing us to distinguish first-time and returning visits, and record your approximate location (country, state and city) derived from your IP address when you access the site. We do not store the IP address itself.
If you decline, the forms and other features remain available. We do not create this identifier, record your location or enable Google Analytics. Any anonymous identifier previously stored in the browser is removed when you decline. Your preference is stored in your browser.
6. Data sharing and service providers
Your data may be processed by service providers necessary to operate the website, including hosting and infrastructure, storage, email delivery and, with your consent, website analytics. They receive only the information needed to perform their services and are subject to applicable security and privacy obligations.
We do not sell personal data. Information may be disclosed when required by law, regulation or an order issued by a competent authority.
7. Storage, security and retention
We use technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the size and nature of our operations to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, alteration, loss or disclosure. We retain data for as long as necessary to respond to requests, manage the business relationship, comply with applicable obligations and protect rights. After that period, the data may be deleted or anonymized.
8. Your rights
Under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD), you may request confirmation that your data is being processed; access to and correction of your data; anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary or excessive data; information about data sharing; portability where applicable; deletion of data processed with your consent; and withdrawal of consent.
To exercise your rights, email felipe.ricardi@hvetech.net. We may request additional information to verify your identity and protect personal data against unauthorized requests.
9. Updates to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the website, our services or applicable requirements. The current version will be published on this page with the date of the latest update.
